Results in a Hurry
EFA offers "rapid testing" to detect HIV antibodies. This rapid test requires a single drop of blood to determine results. Results take 15 minutes and are 99.7% accurate. If the rapid test indicates an individual is positive for HIV, a confirmatory test consisting of a simple blood draw will be used to determine if the rapid test results are accurate.
Our Certified Testing Staff
EFA's prevention team can test anyone for HIV and are also trained phlebotomists, making syphilis testing available to our community. Additionally, clients who meet specific criteria are also eligible for gonorrhea and chlamydia testing. If interested, please ask about these additional tests when making your appointment.
Counseling & Questions
Our certified testing staff is commited to provide everyone with the information they need to feel confident about their knowledge of HIV and provide answers to questions about HIV and other STI's. If an individual is positive, EFA is able to provide linkage to care services in order to remain healthy.
